Our Erasmus girls Giulia, Elizabeth and Maria explored Martićeva street, also known as the Design district in Zagreb. Martićeva used to be a quiet place that never stood out, except by the fact that it was in the centre of the city. However, for the last couple of years this neighbourhood blossomed into the city’s creative zone, known for its local design stores, architecture, art and bars & restaurants. Originally famous for many car-related shops, Martićeva transformed into creative community that we see nowadays. Elizabeth talked to Jelena Slavujević, Croatian Design Superstone communications manager, the biggest design concept store in Croatia.
